NEW ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCTS AT GEOTECH

Geotech Guzzlers

Geotech Guzzlers are easy-to-install pneumatic product recovery systems designed for shallow recovery operation with up to 25 feet (7.6m) of suction lift. Pumps are usually mounted at the well head or in a 12" (30.5cm) minimum sump and will deliver approximately 0-4 GPM (0-15 LPM) while using 2-6 CFM (.06-.17cmm) of air, depending on the suction lift, pumping rate, and total discharge head.

This system consists of a Pneumatic Dual Diaphragm Pump, Tankfull Shut-off Valve, Air Regulator, and user controls secured in a stainless steel enclosure. The Guzzler is attached to a Skimmer with floating intake cartridge, and a Tankfull Shut-off Sensor tube.

    recharge rate
  • Choice of 2" or 4" (5cm or 10cm) Skimmer systems
  • The 4" (10cm) floating Skimmer can accommodate groundwater fluctuations in

  • only shows Geotech equipment in use by real workers at real sites,
  • close-ups of the Geotech equipment,
  • equipment being used safely in observance of the health and safety procedures required
  • has companion photos showing as much of the site and surrounding area as possible (with site owner's permission, of course),
  • is well composed: nice framing, interesting background… extra points if the viewer can tell what type of project you were working on,
  • has an unusual twist or story: equipment being used overseas, of an interesting project, or for humanitarian purposes… wildlife or Mother Nature butting/intruding… the perfect shot at sunset, etc.
  • Digital photos only, in jpg or tiff formats, 2 MB or larger if possible.

Fourth International Symposium on Bioremediation and Sustainable Environmental Technologies

The Symposium will be held in Miami, Florida. The program will be designed for scientists, engineers, regulators, remediation site owners, and other environmental professionals. Attendance is expected to be more than 800 people, representing universities, government agencies, and consulting, research and development, and service firms from approximately 25 countries.

The technical program will present information on advances in bioremediation and the incorporation of green and sustainable remediation (GSR) practices in remediation in a series of technology-focused sessions. The development and use of advanced tools for assessing and monitoring bioremediation and natural attenuation, as well as the challenges of applying bioremediation at various types of complex sites and under extreme climatic conditions, will be considered. Several sessions will address biodegradation of emerging contaminants and biofuels and the evaluation and mitigation of vapor intrusion.
