Only .72" in diameter, Geotech’s submersible pressure transducers meet the demanding environments encountered in liquid level measurement and control. Highly adaptable, they can be used with dataloggers, monitoring equipment, and to control remediation and landfill pumps. Geotech Pressure Transducers are 100% tested and calibrated for high static accuracy and repeatability. Measurements are temperature compensated over a wide temperature range. For barometric compensation requirements, Absolute or Sealed Gauge models can be chosen. User specified pressure ranges from 100-1000 psi for Sealed Gauge models and 15-1000 psi for Absolute Gauge models.		Geotech transducers are intrinsically safe and an optional surge suppressor for lightning protection is available (requires both well and downwell components). In locations where signal interference is a problem (such as coalbed methane operations) there is the optional Probe Pal noise filter and double shielded and jacketed CBM signal cable. Geotech Pressure Transducers are housed in a corrosion resistant #316 stainless steel housing. The sensor has a 1/4" NPT process fitting with protective cap. Inline desiccant filled vent filler for moisture protection is standard with all vented gauge units. The standard cable is premium quality, proprietary, double-shielded, and polyurethane jacketed.

In 1919 a young chemist, Frank LaMotte, decided to focus his expertise in the area of pH analysis on specific applications of chemical control. Within a few years LaMotte was manufacturing specialized pH indicators and other analytical reagents for world-wide distribution. The applications section of LaMotte's first major catalog, published in 1930, anticipated many of the areas in which accurate chemical control is indispensable today – boiler water, swimming pools, drinking water, and more. LaMotte is still a committed industry leader, providing state-of-the-art equipment for water quality analysis. The newly redesigned Model 2020e Portable Turbidity Meter meets USEPA method 180.1 specifications by combining the most advanced microprocessor in the handheld market with a patent-pending optical chamber. The 2020i meets ISO 7027 specifications.		The result is higher accuracy in the low range and a wider detection range. LaMotte's multi-detector optical configuration assures long-term stability and minimizes stray light and color interferences. Using a process of true signal averaging over a 5 second period determines all readings. This unique process minimizes fluctuations attributed to large particles and results in rapid, easily repeatable measurements. 2020s are the only portable turbidimeters available on the market to feature data logging. The units do not use sealed standards that could deteriorate over a period of time resulting in false low readings. Kits are supplied with 0, 1, and 10 NTU standards, sample bottle, four sample tubes, extra battery and a sturdy waterproof Otter case. An AC power adapter is optional.
