AquaVISION's state-of-the-art Colloidal Borescope added to Geotech's rental fleet

A borescope is an instrument which uses optical fibers for the visual inspection of well cavities. The AquaVISION Colloidal Borescope System is a state-of-the-art proprietary hardware/software system developed by a team of research scientists determined to perfect an instrument capable of measuring groundwater velocity, direction and particle size – all in real-time. Utilizing existing monitoring wells with a 2" or larger well diameter for assessment, the AquaVISION Colloidal Borescope measurement technique can help you avoid the cost of additional wells and piezometers. While current downhole technologies only allow for a few flow measurements per day, the AquaVISION Colloidal Borescope System yields thousands of data points per minute, providing hours of statistically assured data with little or no special training.

  extraction wells
• Accurately calibrating groundwater models
• Tidal influences
