Making your life easier and safer Since 1975 ORS Environmental Systems has been manufacturing environmental remediation equipment longer than anyone else in that field. In 1981 ORS introduced the hand-held Interface Probe™. |
The ORS Interface Probe⢠accurately measures depth to hydrocarbons and water in monitoring wells and tanks by using an intrinsically safe optical prism to detect hydrocarbon layers as thin as 1/200ft. A trigger-style brake lever holds the tape in position while measurements are recorded. The standard optical sensing prism is field replaceable. Other probe options are available, including a chemically resistant probe and a small 5/8" probe. The ORS IP is packaged in a NEMA 3 weather resistant, rugged and lightweight aluminum housing. The unit includes a tape wiper to keep the reel assembly clean from dirt and hydrocarbons. A grounding clip is provided for additional anti-static safety. |
The Factory Mutual Approved ORS Interface Probe has enjoyed a long product life not only because it is very durable, but also because it is still the only interface probe that meets Class I, Division 1, Group D standards for being intrinsically safe in explosive hazardous locations. In 1997 Oil Recovery Systems (ORS) was acquired by Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. and continues to lead in innovation. ORS/Geotech is dedicated to providing you with the best service, including access to our factory engineers, training and documentation. |

Geotech will be at booth 605 in the exhibit hall. If you give us a call by November 12, we will be happy to bring along the equipment that YOU would be most interested in seeing and learning about while you are there. For more information. |
