From pumps and sampling, datalogging, to filtrations or level and flow instrumentation, Geotech is committed to connecting you to the industry's best Water Quality Equipment. Beyond the need for efficient and accurate tools, we believe that a solid education is at the core of most good choices. That is why Geotech is committed to enhancing community learning through events like Field Days, and supporting local schools and our future environmental specialists. One example of this is Blue Ridge Junior High STEM Club, who is working on a Watershed Monitoring Project this year. 17 students in the 7th and 8th grade are participating in the preservation and restoration of the Colorado watershed. The goal is to positively impact the local community and tourism by focusing on lakes where levels were previously too low to be stocked with fish, and utilize water saving measures to decrease agricultural runoff that leads to high nutrient loads and fish die-off. These students will be conducting research/fieldwork, collecting data, installing sensors, and distributing educational and conservation information. Students will be installing 4 weather stations and networking residential weather stations. They will design and build stream and runoff flow meters and install both well-depth meters and water quality sensors. Geotech is proud to be partnering with In-Situ to donate equipment for this project. This includes our Geotech SitePro Telemtery System and a Weather Station. Geotech wants to give a huge THANK YOU to Kevin Woolridge, Blue Ridge Junior High STEM Club Advisor and FAB Lab Founder, Sara Chudnoff the volunteer professional hydrologist advisor, and the students of Blue Ridge Junior High for their efforts to improve our local water quality! |

Geotech Field Days is another opportunity for education where we gather some of the brightest leaders to network and teach on industry standards and necessary equipment. This year the tournament will be held at Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills in Westminster. Check in at 6:30am with free range balls provided, Shotgun start at 8:00am SHARP. Fee includes: Green Fees, Cart, Driving Range, Drink Tickets, Goodie Bag, and Food. Remember, all proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald Foundation. Last year 134 golfers entered and approximately $30,000.00 was raised for the charity with the help of our sponsors and participants. |
