Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. Acquires Environmental Instruments

Denver, Colorado –September 9th, 2025 – Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. (Geotech), a leader in environmental sampling and monitoring equipment, has acquired Environmental Instruments (EI), a well-established company based in Concord, California. This strategic acquisition unites two long-standing companies dedicated to serving the environmental industry.

For decades, Environmental Instruments has been a staple in the industry, even recognized as one of the fastest-growing Fortune 500 environmental companies in 1991. Its legacy is deeply connected to the careers of many notable environmental professionals who started at EI before going on to launch other successful organizations.
